Responsibilities

Job Summary 

The Business Analyst will work with multiple business areas within Merchandising and Supply Chain Systems to gather and document requirements across several projects and processes.  The BA will be able to translate these requirements into digestible information to be utilized by the technical development teams.  The BA will be heavily used in the entire project lifecycle, including testing, where he/she will be required to help build and execute test cases. 

 

Job Requirements

Essential Requirements

 

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Previous retail experience required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office and Visio
  • Strong experience in user testing and project lifecycle

 

 

Preferred Requirements (skills and abilities)

  • Experience with formulating and defining scope/objectives through analysis, research and fact-finding, documenting application requirements at a detailed level, and achieving consensus and sign-off on requirements documentation.
  • Experience with performing end-user interviews and leading requirements gathering sessions.
  • Ability to analyze current business processes and recommend improvements
  • JDA Retail Applications and/or Oracle RMS experience is a plus
  • Experience with Atlassian software and collaboration tools is a plus
  • Hands-on experience using SQL and PL/SQL is a plus.
