Responsible for supporting the Associate Service Center (ASC) incoming call volume related to payroll, benefits, and other HR related issues giving special attention to efficiency and quality customer service levels. The ASC Representative is an associate advocate for problem resolution and is well versed in company policies, general benefits offered to eligible associates, and payroll related processes.
Provide efficient and quality customer service to all callers.
Handle incoming calls related to payroll, general benefits, company policy, employee self-service transactions, employment verification, and other associate related questions.
Process all necessary transactions and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner. Make outbound calls for issue resolution as required.
Process payroll requests for instances such as missing hours, lost/stale dated check, immediate pay for termination, sign-on bonus, etc.
Process PeopleSoft transactions for RMs, DMs, and store managers such as salary change requests, promotions, demotions, transfers, etc. that cannot be completed in manager self-service.
Documents call history for all transactions related to an associate.
Ensures confidentiality of applicable information seen and handled according to HIPPA requirements.
High school diploma or equivalent
Exceptional customer service skills and proven ability to perform in an unpredictable, fast-paced environment.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
MS Office applications experience and basic and phone knowledge/ etiquette
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Under regular pressure to meet deadlines, quotas and/or must frequently deal with difficult issues related to people or situations
Required to work Monday-Friday, 9-5:30
Preferred Requirements (skills and abilities)
HR experience preferred
Bachelor, Associate Degree or some college education preferred
Bilingual Spanish is a plus
