The OmniChannel Planner plays a central role between the OmniChannel team and the store and eCommerce business units and is responsible for synchronizing the total company merchandise plans into executable OmniChannel fulfillment and replenishment strategies. The person is responsible for making inventory placement decisions based on fulfillment capacity, sales, and profit constraints and evaluates results to improve future decisions. Clear execution and communication of the strategies will ensure collaboration between the merchandise plans and store allocations to maximize profitability of OmniChannel programs.
