The Data Hub team is seeking high energy, autonomous, motivated individual to assume the role of Product Manager to act as a liaison across business and technology disciplines in driving day-to-day project delivery with a particular focus on high quality, efficient delivery.
Candidate will leverage their strong product / program management skills to provide structure and discipline to complex and strategic business initiatives to enable stakeholder alignment and on-time / on-scope results. Your leadership and problem solving skills will support business owners and the cross-functional team as they work through the challenges that may jeopardize your program’s success.
Understand the vision of a product from the point of view of all customer stakeholders (system administrators, end users, operations management,etc.).
You will help oversee the effective and efficient design and delivery of large, complex projects by anticipating bottlenecks, providing escalation management, task prioritization, and balancing the business needs versus technical constraints.
Create, maintain and disseminate project information to stakeholders all while driving effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple disparate groups with competing priorities
Planning and overseeing implementation of our internal data stewardship and data governances process for the Data Hub (Monitoring standards/documentation)
Interact with customers and end users of the product to learn details for feature/product definition and prioritization; Driving and Conducting requirements gathering sessions where needed, Documenting the business environment, processes and prototypes. Work closely with the Program Manager, Business Stakeholders and multiple Development Teams to define and deliver complex features.
Create epics, user stories and acceptance criteria from the business feature functionality presented by product management;
•Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing complex technology projects
•Bachelor’s Degree or 4+years equivalent work experience
Exceptional written and verbal communication – ability to lead discussions with technical owners, developers, business stakeholders and executive leadership.
•Anticipate bottlenecks, manage risk and escalations, and balance the business needs versus technical
•Collaborate with stakeholder teams to define deliverables, roadmaps, and accompanying documentation for ad-hoc projects and programs.
•Work closely with service owners and partner teams to understand product roadmaps and drive overall new product introduction schedules.
•Intuitively understand business models and strategy to align priorities to adequately support business goals.
•Extensive hands-on experience working across multiple disciplines presenting findings to an executive audience and publishing findings in written format.
•Proven experience working with senior leadership and experience defining and delivering on a product roadmap
•A proven track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on projects
•Demonstrated bias for action with strengths in issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
•Knowledge of retail industry with an emphasis on Marketing or Business Analytics
•Familiarity with tools such as Jira and Confluence
