The International Associate Planner is responsible for the planning and allocation strategies of Express’ multi-country franchise fleet. This individual will be responsible for coordinating, executing and communicating plans with the franchise teams to operate a successful Express franchise business.



Performance Objectives:

  • Ensure responsible development of pre-season franchisee merchandise plans
  • Analyze / report on franchisees’ performance weekly / monthly and recommend in-season changes (ie, promotions, inventory levels, allocations, etc.)
  • Drive key assortment strategies
  • Perform ad hoc analyses as needed

Essential Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience: 2-5 years allocation, planning, or related experience
  • Proven analytical skills
  • Retail math expertise
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong computer skills, specifically Excel.

Preferred Requirements (skills and abilities)

  • Excellent organizational, prioritizing and problem-solving skills
  • Sense of urgency and accuracy
  • Ability to work well within a team environment
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Strong computer skills including Word, and MicroStrategy

• Ability to learn quickly and to seek out information/answers
