    Responsibilities

    Job Summary 

     

    The Search Manager will be responsible for the overall creation, implementation and execution of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Paid Search budgeting, strategies, analytics, communication and vendor management. Responsible for gathering and developing Key Business Requirements (KBRs), technical/ system requirements, functional designs, key category focus and articulated business process to drive technology solutions and paid search optimization while supporting brand strategies for overall traffic growth. In conjunction with the Marketing & Site Operations team, this role will also be responsible for one direct report, lead 2 agencies teams and the day to day production support of website systems, programs, and operations to help build a culture of continuous improvement and flawless execution.

    Essential Requirements

    • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or equivalent experience
    • Experience: Minimum 2- 4+ years of experience in SEO & paid search
    • Experience using web analytic & search measurement tools (i.e. Omniture, Google Analytics, Adwords, etc.)
    • Strong communication & presentation tools
    • Experience working with direct reports & leading 3rd party agencies
    • Solid understanding of search engine ranking factors, algorithms and principals

     

    Preferred Requirements (skills and abilities)

    • Knowledge of E-commerce platforms
    • Organized, able to act independently, and able to adapt rapidly in a fast-paced environment
    • Solid understanding of SEO fundamentals and best practices, and User Experience (UX) design
    • Ability to collaborate effectively and actively with marketing, creative and development teams
    • Proven ability to effectively manage time and priorities
