The Director, Product Management and Customer Experience Design is responsible for the product and experience vision, strategy, and roadmaps for Express’ overall customer experience design. This critical leadership role in our Customer Experience Design team member will drive intuitive and consistent shopping experiences across Express.com, our companion Mobile Apps, and In Stores. Focus will include Commerce, Styling, Innovation, Omnichannel, and other total customer and associate capabilities needed to continuously engage our customer and increase sales. Strong retail and fashion strategy, vision, digital product management, technical depth, and partnership skills are required of this leader.
This change agent will inherit and evolve Express’ digital product portfolio. The Director will be the leading advocate for simple, intuitive, elegant and market leading experiences across all touchpoints with our Customers. Responsibilities include developing seamless experience strategies, product roadmaps, leading business analysis, user experience design, and ensuring execution of Omnichannel experiences that evolve with Customer and Associate interactions and feedback. In short, this innovative leader is expected to deliver high-value, differentiating experiences that are stable, usable, and delight our Customers and Associates.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, is analytical, detail and results oriented with excellent problem-solving skills and a strong work ethic coupled with being a highly motivated self-starter. Has the confidence and knowledge to successfully own the product and have excellent communication skills enabling strong cross functional relationships, internally and externally. This individual will be skilled in working across departments to collaborate with Retail Business and Merchant Leaders, Product Owners, User Experience and Application Architects, Creative and Engineering Delivery Teams, Project Managers, Scrum Leaders, QA, and Operations Teams.
