The International Planning Analyst is responsible for providing sales and inventory analysis of Express’ multi-country franchise fleet. This individual will assist in sales forecasts, inventory buys, and allocation. The International Planning Analyst will provide retail sales analysis, insights and recommendations to maximize sales and profits to operate a successful Express franchise business.


Performance Objectives:


  • Ensure responsible development of pre-season franchisee merchandise plans
  • Produce and analyze weekly / monthly sales reporting and recommend in-season changes (ie, promotions, inventory levels, allocations, etc.)
  • Work closely with International Merchandising and other cross functional partners to drive key assortment strategies
  • Prepare recommendations and analysis for key meetings/decisions in order to maximize sales and optimize inventory productivity
  • Perform ad hoc analyses as needed
  • Identify areas of opportunity for system/process improvements.


Essential Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience: 2-4 years of business, planning, or allocation experience

  • Strong communication skills
  • Sense of urgency and accuracy
  • Ability to work well independently, as well as, within a team environment
