The Sr. Claims Analyst is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the Workers’ Compensation, General Liability and property claims program.  Understands and ensures compliance with the claims program, policies and procedures for: reporting, investigation and analysis; resolution/outcome management; and delivery of claim information. This includes the ability to effectively coordinate with various parties for multiple claims simultaneously and provide actionable analysis and recommendations to minimize the Company’s total cost of risk. 


Essential Qualifications

  • 3 years of minimum experience as an Indemnity adjuster, or 5 years as a Risk Management Claims Analyst or equivalent. Retail experience a plus.
  • Microsoft Office experience (word, excel, outlook)
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information
  • Demonstrated problem solving, time management and priority setting skills
  • Demonstrated aptitude for learning
  • Able to deal with challenging situations with mature problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and proven ability to perform in an unpredictable, fast paced environment
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong soft skills with both external associates and internal team members
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and drive for quality results
  • Positive attitude to help foster a productive work environment


Preferred Qualifications (skills and abilities)

  • Knowledge of General Liability
  • Knowledge of federal, state and local laws and regulations regarding employee work related injuries and FMLA regulations
  • Advanced Excel experience
  • Undergraduate Degree or some college education preferred
