    Job Summary 


    Develops, implements, trains, and maintains manual and automated quality assurance testing methodologies and systems to ensure the accuracy and stability of software applications.  The Quality Assurance Supervisor will work closely with business users, application development teams, and subject matter experts to ensure business requirements are met and delivered with high quality.   Additionally, the supervisor will oversee the work of the Quality Assurance Analysts and consulting resources, including assigning tasks, development, and writing and delivering performance reviews.


    Job Requirements


    Essential Requirements

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in IS or equivalent experience.
    • Experience:
      • 3-5 years of experience in software quality assurance in the POS application systems
      • 3-5 years supervisory experience
      • Experience creating manual and automated test scripts
      • Experience diagnosing, reporting, tracking, and resolving quality issues
      • Experience in the retail industry a plus


    Preferred Requirements (skills and abilities)

    • Knowledge of automated testing tools
    • Detailed organizational and coordination skills
    • Ability to clearly communicate to business users, IT development groups, and external vendors
    • Ability to communicate clearly; in writing, by phone and in person
    • Ability to understand business processes and integration of those processes into the systems to ensure complete end to end testing of software
    • Proven problem solving, training, organizational, and analytical skills
