    Responsibilities

    The Senior Field Communications Specialist plans and coordinates communication through cross-functional collaboration and use of resources with a focus on growth business such as major markets and supporting Outlet and pricing communication as necessary. This individual is also responsible for utilizing feedback to improve process efficiency and elevate communication based on the field’s needs.

    Field Communications
    -Plan, streamline and execute all communications sent to field leaders and stores regarding assigned areas of the business  via multiple communication vehicles
    -Ensure accuracy of content and message clarity for ease of execution
    -Actively test and provide recommendations to store messaging application and field intranet to improve efficiencies and effectiveness of final product received by the field
    -Manage the Field Operations Calendar by partnering cross functionally to align on dates that drive top line sales profitably
    -Partner to write and deliver appropriate levels of communication to the Field Intranet and eActivity including information and execution content ensuring clear, concise and accurate
    -Provide feedback to business partners regarding the accuracy and completeness of their communications to improve execution in stores

    Field Support
    -Provide exceptional support to field leaders and stores by resolving field inquiries timely
    -Troubleshoot all policy and procedural issues through proper use of resources
    -Partner with cross functional team members to provide resolution to total company issues with a sense of urgency
    -Identify and coordinate global communication needs based on Field Support inquiries


    Process Improvement
    -Participate in store visits to uncover ways to improve operational efficiencies and communications
    -Leverage the current Field Experts team to gain insight and feedback to shape improvements
    -Collaborate cross functionally to create efficiencies to allow stores more time with their customers

    Job Requirements

    Essential Requirements
    -Education: Bachelor’s degree in communication or journalism
    -Three to five years communications experience
    -Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
    -Experience creating communications in InDesign, Adobe, and SharePoint


    Preferred Requirements (skills and abilities)
    -Strong written and verbal communication skills
    -Ability to multi task and manage competing priorities
    -Strong decision making skills and ability to manage projects under tight deadlines
    -Ability to work independently or with a  team
    -Ability to influence others at all levels of the organization
    -Strong ability to present feedback and challenges to all levels of Associates in the organization
    -Retail experience preferred
    -Experience with task management system preferred
