    Job Summary 

    Express is looking for an energetic team player who is not afraid to tackle a challenge, roll up their sleeves, and get dirty. This opportunity is for someone who wants to be part of a dynamic team applying highly specialized knowledge of software engineering and development to analyze, design, develop, test, and support web-based and client-server applications. We are looking for an individual with solid technical foundation, excellent communication skills and an entrepreneurial attitude.



    Essential Tasks


    • Develop and modify complex application programs from detailed specifications, including coding, testing, debugging, documenting and maintaining programs;
    • Provide steady state support, configuration and maintenance of Production & sourcing systems in conjunction with third party partners;
    • Direct partnerships with the information technology business analysts on new initiatives, documenting technical specifications, testing and implementing systems changes;
    • Assist subject matter experts with analyzing data flows for system improvement opportunities within the business;
    • Assist other software developers with analyzing code for system developments and improvements;
    • Design, code, test, document and debug complex applications, concentrating on web applications arena;
    • Utilize database query tools for application support;
    • Participate in meetings with users and team members to determine requirements and scope of needed software developments;
    • Assist in the creation of functional design deliverables;
    • Identify and correct software problems;
    • Monitor and resolve system performance issues;
    • Communicate and interact effectively with non-technical users;
    • Assist end users in identifying and resolving system issues by providing application knowledge and expertise;
    • Assist team partners and users through the creation and execution of test plan;
    • Generate user documentation;
    • Work with Production & Sourcing teams to ensure business requirements and timelines are being met;
    • Ensure alignment between business process and system specifications;
    • Provide leadership and partnership in testing, ensuring quality data and stable systems;
    • Work with product development and design team to help set priority of proposed enhancements;
    • Analyze and evaluate systems controls and edit checks;
    • Participate in 24x7 on-call support activities
    • Other essential tasks may occur as directed by your supervisor


    Job Requirements

    Essential Requirements:

    • 3 years of experience working with basic languages and technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, and SQL.
    • 3 years of experience working with: C#, Java, TFS, WCF, Oracle.
    • 3 years of experience with project management including experience in scope evaluation, developing test schedules, scenario scripts, and validation.


    Work Experience & Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field plus 3 years’ progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the field.

    • Ability to discuss technical issues with non-technical customers and non-technical issues with technical customers

    • Proven problem solving and analytical skills
    • Ability to influence and motivate others



    Preferred Requirements:

    • Technical knowledge of TradeStone/Bamboo Rose PLM systems
    • Experience with Eclipse, NetBeans, Microstrategy.
