The E-Commerce Sample Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of merchandise samples and product information for Express.com. This position will manage the tracking and identification of merchandise samples for e-commerce’s monthly product photo shoots as well as the copywriting process. This individual will also support the E-commerce merchandising team on any additional ad hoc projects as needed.
-Coordinate monthly sample pass off meetings with merchant assistants.
-Collect and prepare website samples for weekly photo shoots.
-Follow up on any late or missing samples and communicate updates to team as needed.
-Compile shot list inclusive of product count by gender and department.
-Maintain sample movement information updates with E-comm Merchants, Photo Studio, Copy and Production Teams.
-Compile copy deck for upcoming floorset and ensure samples are available for copywriter.
-Track uploads of product shots into Scene7 and report on any missing shots prior to go live dates.
-Assist Merchandising Coordinators in swatching product in preparation for websets.
-Prepare Must Have Looks samples for monthly Style Out review and coordinate delivery to studio.
-Review customer comments and provide relevant feedback to Manager.
Direct Mail Coordination:
-Create and prepare monthly direct mail re-cap post style out alignment.
-Review merchandise deliveries weekly, update re-cap and email updates to Director Ecommerce. Follow up with merchant assistants on late deliveries as needed.
- Partner with Fulfillment Manager to ensure that all delivery updates have been communicated.
- Partner with Merchandising Coordinators on miscellaneous tasks and various ad hoc projects.
- Pattern online competition weekly to identify new, brand appropriate ideas.
- Align with Director Online Merchandising on Stylist Picks of the Week selections.
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years of related work experience in corporate retail environment.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills required
- Computer proficiency sufficient to operate Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to manage time and workloads effectively with minimal supervision
- Hands-on person with positive team attitude
