Responsibilities

An individual contributor that is responsible for identifying sales trends and providing strategy and direction to ensure adequate inventory levels reach the appropriate channels of business in a timely manner.  Monitors product availability and works with merchandising to determine the quantity of inventory to buy by size.  Responsible for providing store analyst with the necessary guidance and direction to help them achieve their objectives.  Capable of working under minimal direction and handling inventory issues of high complexity.

  • Create allocation strategies, incorporating the merchandise plan and flow strategy to meet store inventory needs.
  • Review, analyze and adjust allocation plans incorporating sales trends
  • Work with merchandising to determine the quantities to order by size, as well as appropriate pre-pack, bulk quantity to meet store size demands.
  • Prepares new store/ remodel plans that directly tie to the overall sales plan of the store
  • Provide allocation coordinator accurate information as it relates to total company initiatives; floorsets, DC, New stores, etc
  • Train analysts and provide guidance and resources for them to achieve their objectives. (accurate allocations)
  • Identifies areas of opportunity for system/process improvements

Required Experience & Qualifications

 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience: 2-4 years of business, planning, or allocation experience
