Responsibilities

The primary responsibility of the Sample Coordinator is the coordination of merchandise samples and product information. This position will manage the organizing of physical samples and the tracking of samples as they arrive at the office. In addition to samples, the Coordinator will also play a critical role in gathering and preparing the necessary tools for each milestone meeting and pass-off. The ideal candidate should be comfortable using Microsoft Excel and could also be asked to stretch their scope further to S5 training in order to provide data entry assistance for the team. This individual will support women’s team across various administrative tasks as needed by the team.

 

Key Responsibilities 

 

  • Coordinate samples for monthly floor set meetings
  • Collect and prepare samples for marketing photo shoots
  • Follow up on any late or missing samples and communicate updates to the team as needed
  • Track samples expected to receive and communicate updates to the team
  • Organize samples for Monday selling meetings, Go To Market (GTM) Milestones and Trim Alignment meetings
  • Other miscellaneous tasks as directed by the supervisor (e.g., printing decks or Computer Adided Design Sketch (CADS), building boards, making signs, meeting support, etc.)

 

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of related work experience
  • Strong Organizational, interpersonal and communication skills required
  • Computer proficiency enough to operate Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to manage time and workloads effectively with minimal supervision
  • Hands-on person with positive attitude
  • Pulse on trend and apparel market
