The Manager, Organizational Development is focused on enhancing organizational effectiveness by improving employee performance, team dynamics, and overall organizational culture. This role manages and builds enterprise level programs to empower leaders to ensure new associates have a smooth immersion into the company and current associates are developed to meet the future needs of the organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Partners with Business Partners and functional leaders to assess talent strengths and gaps with the purpose of developing programs and interventions to build a strong talent bench following the 70/20/10 philosophy
Develops, manages and executes the learning & development calendar for Phoenix University encompassing development for individual contributors and leaders across the organization
Manages the Success@Phoenix program which unifies Performance, Potential and Succession and Rewards setting a cadence and culture for continuous feedback and development
Leads the instructional design and development of learning programs rooted in our values and core competencies to leverage/develop team and individual strengths and opportunities
Partners with outside vendors as needed to develop and/or execute programs
Performs other duties as assigned
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
7+ years HR experience with background in Organizational Development
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 4 years additional work experience in lieu of
Exceptional organization and communication skills (both written and oral), including the ability to make effective presentations to all levels of the organization
Experience leading teams, motivating, coaching and developing high performers
CRITICAL SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES
Ability to collect and apply business insights to solve problems and achieve overarching goals
Technical acumen needed to support Learning Management System and related systems
Ability to lead large scale projects and motivate direct and indirect teams effectively
Excellent written and spoken communication skills
Able to collaborate and work effectively/efficiently with cross functional teams
