The Sales Audit Accountant’s primary responsibility is analyzing and reconciling transactional activity, certain cash accounts, and for timely identification and resolution of out of balances, void log items as well as loss/chargeback activity.   The role requires regular interaction with business partners and field associates as well as aggregation of the information obtained and production of concise & informative reporting.   Other responsibilities could include assisting with reconciling cash, credit card or gift card transactional activity; or similar types of tasks with other Accounting Operations teams.

The work is transactional based but requires attention to detail and ability to identify and analyze abnormalities.   The individual will also maintain accuracy and completeness of the general ledger for the relevant accounts, support forecasting of related activity and prepare timely journal entries and account reconciliations in accordance with Express accounting policies and procedures.  

Job Requirements

Essential Requirements:

• Ability to organize work and set priorities in a fast pace environment
• Attention to Detail
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Proven organizational skills
• Intermediate/Advanced PC Skills – Excel
• 2+ years’ experience of transactional based accounting or analysis in a large corporation

Preferred Requirements:

• Knowledge of GAAP
• Experience of ReconNet, SVS/OSI and PeopleSoft would be an advantage
• Understanding of UIPath and RPA processes would also be beneficial
• Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or equivalent work experience
• Experience in journal entry preparation, auditing and balance sheet reconciliation
